Our flight to Italy is in a few hours and I am still up at 2 am finishing up getting all the chargers, camera, and computer stuff ready. There are some photos I took from our recent trip to the Griffith Observatory still untouched on my hard drive.
Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles was recently renovated. Visitors will need to reserve a shuttle seat to the observatory from a shopping center. Public parking at the Observatory is not allowed.

One of the shuttle attendants at the shopping mall, Andrea, is from Venice, Italy. He is the guy in the middle. We started talking about Italy while waiting for the bus. His father owns a store in Venice just outside of the train station. I promised Andrea that I will go visit his father and give him a copy of this photo.
The Observatory is located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park at 1,134 feet above sea level.
