For the past few days I have been searching for an offline blog editor to use on our trip. There will be times when we will not have access to an Internet connection. During those days I still want to be able to jot down a short entry and upload the blog at a later date. What I found was a program that is one of Microsoft's Live services called Windows Live Writer Beta.
This program has been getting excellent reviews even in its beta state. It can upload blogs to various services such as Blogger, LiveJournal, WordPress, and Microsoft's own Live Spaces. There are a few bugs when used with Blogger. The main one is that for now it is unable to upload a picture. There also may be some synchronization problems which can be solved by clearing the cache. Even with these problems I am still thinking about using it during our trip.
I am really hoping that the development team will get the official version finished soon. The program is going to be a winner. BTW, I am posting this blog with the program.
