Motorola KRZR Sudoku Instructions

If you ordered an unlocked Motorola KRZR K1 GSM phone on eBay like I did, you probably received a phone made for the Hong Kong market. The Sudoku game that came with the phone has instructions and menus in Chinese. Here is a list of steps to change the language to English.

1. Select the game

2. The initial screen will ask you if you want the sound on. No is on the left, and YES is on the right.

3. Once you see the main screen, go up and down on the toggle until you see these Chinese characters for "Options", then press select.

4. The first option is "Language", select this, or you can look for the Chinese characters shown.

5. Now it is listing the languages available. The first selection is a type of Chinese character.

6. Move the selections up and down until you see "English."

7. Select "English" as your language then you will see this screen.

8. Now the menus are in English. From the current "Languages" options screen, hit the left soft key to return you to the main menu. From the main menu, select "Sudoku Game" to start playing by selecting the level.

Remember, if you "End" the game, the menus go back to Chinese again. In order to keep the English menus, you can suspend the game and resume playing later.
